Splendor with the Cass

I am so thankful for my incredibly hansome husband. He is amazing. He works so hard to be a good father and husband. All weekend he kept asking me, "what can I help you with?" Those are seriously the sweetest words to hear. Especially when I'm getting in my own head. When I was at the end of my rope with Saylor last night he just held me. I went and pouted on my bed while he folded the mountain of laundry on the couch. He gets up early every morning and works long hours. Sometimes REALLY long hours at a job that is physically taxing. He is in no way perfect, but he never stops trying. He picks himself up and keeps moving forward. He is unique and difficult to understand at times. But at the end of the day he will be the first one to say 'sorry', even if he was right. We have both grown so much in the past year. We have matured in ways that we hadn't anticipated. Forgiveness and patience have noursished our marriage and sweetened our bond. Cassidy loves me as I am, but will push me to my full potential. I can't imagine life without him.

  1. That is so beautiful and true. Cassidy is a unique and strong hearted man. I'M GLAD I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO CALL HIM MY FRIEND AND CO WORKER. WELL SAID MADDIE.
