Determined

I first posted about my weight management over three months ago. Sadly, I have neglected my goals frequently since then. In fact I even put on a few pounds. But, with the heartfelt encouragement of my husband, I am still determined to reach my weight loss goals. I have re-committed to the methods that have worked for me in the past. I am happy to report that within the last two weeks I have lost three pounds. I am feeling motivated and happy. I have noticed that my mood and patience improves when I am active and progressing. It is incredibly difficult for me to break these eating habits but it is not impossible. The only thing that is holding me back is ME!

  1. Good job for not giving up. Not that you need any suggestions but I use at home videos. I always feel a little nerdy when I tell people that but they work really well for me. Two in particular that I like are based off the show "The Biggest Loser" they are called "Cardio Max" and "Power Sculpt." What I really like about these videos is that the workouts only last 30 minutes, which includes the warm up and cool down. In those few minutes I get a good workout because the trainers are tough. It is as if I traded two hours at the gym for 30 minutes of torture at home:)

Because it is only 30 minutes I can reasonably workout every single day. It is perfect for me as a mom. Sometimes Spencer is fussy and cries through my entire workout...but again it is only 30 minutes so I don't feel too bad ignoring him. Taking care of his momma is taking care of him in the long run.

I am proud of you for staying committed and determined. You are lucky to have a good supportive husband cheering you on.
